How to turn a fruit into a dessert?
Apart from being very tasty, fruits are also essential for our body. I won’t hide from you that when I was a child, I didn’t like them at all. I had told you before that I tried in every possible way to avoid them. However, fruits are an integral part of my daily life either in their standard form or as a smoothie (see smoothie recipes here) or even as a dessert, as happened in this case, for example. Besides, making a dessert based on fruit isn’t challenging, and it will satisfy you perfectly. Compared to it, it will be a very healthy choice, especially with any other dessert.
The easiest, tastiest and healthiest dessert!
Imagine one day when someone rings your bell unexpectedly or when you get caught by those crazy cravings when you want to eat the whole fridge, the neighborhood’s bakery, and the patisserie two blocks away from your house, and then what do you do? Em, that’s why I’m here to get you out of this challenging and awkward moment! And in fact, I will do it in a minimum of time, since today we will make an effortless dessert in a minimum of time and with a small number of ingredients. So, do you have pears at home, don’t you? If so, get ready to make baked pears in the oven without granulated sugar but with maple syrup and vanilla aroma. The walnuts and a delicious coconut yogurt will accompany our dessert and make it a delightful surprise for everyone!
Grilled Cinnamon Pears
Ingredients
- 4 pears
- 4 tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla Bourbon
- ½ tsp. cinnamon
- ¼ tsp. nutmeg
- 80 g walnuts
- coconut yogurt (optionally)
Instructions
- We preheat the oven to 175°C.
- We chop the pears in half vertically.
- We also remove a piece from the side that rests on the pan to stand straight.
- Using a tablespoon, we remove the soles.
- We fill the gap in the middle with walnuts.
- We mix the syrup, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg in a bowl.
- We pour the mixture over the pears, taking care to keep a little, to pour it when they are ready.
- We bake for 20-25 minutes.
- We serve by adding the mixture we kept, extra walnuts and coconut yogurt.
