Do you love summer delicacies?

Summer in Greece has these unique moments by the sea with good company and delicious greek “meze” that make it one of the most beautiful seasons of the year. Although, in general, I love winter and low temperatures, I can never say no to ouzo near the sea, wearing my salty swimsuit, and enjoying my classic and much-loved summer delicacies. Where do I begin? There are the tomato balls, the fava dip, the zucchinis, the greek dakos salad, or the favaballs, like the ones we are making today. Greek cuisine has so many delicious dishes that I really can not choose one! But tell me… How do you usually spend your summers? Do you like creating memories like the ones I described above?

Greek Favokeftedes

Fava beans, like other legumes, are very nutritious and high in protein. Also, since fava beans are an essential ingredient, we can make many recipes, including the classic fava dip with caramelized onions and many more. Today, however, I decided to cook another recipe I love, which is also very easy. This recipe is my beloved favaballs, which we can have as the main dish on our menu accompanied by a salad or anything else we want or as a “meze” to accompany our drink. Of course, the children can participate in the execution of this recipe, as the process of making the balls is always enjoyable for our little friends!
