How can I add tofu to a dessert?
Tofu is an ideal material to add to savory and sweet preparations since it doesn’t have a particular and very characteristic taste. For this reason, with the proper processing and addition of ingredients, we can use it in various recipes and take advantage of all its nutritional characteristics. As we have discussed again, tofu has many forms, textures, and flavors, so depending on our recipe, we choose the right one. In today’s recipe I have used the silken tofu which is one of the softest. This tofu is the best choice as it will melt and be completely homogenized with the chocolate giving us a velvety effect.
Delicious and Healthy Chocolate Mousse
Do you love chocolate but want a healthy option? This recipe is what you are looking for since it has no sugar; instead, I have used maple syrup to give a sweet taste to the final result. At the same time, tofu is high in protein, making it a top choice, as our chocolate mousse is full of protein along with the taste. In addition to being a quick dessert, this mousse is also an excellent choice for breakfast.
