Eating fruit is a must!
Proper consumption of fruits is necessary so we can get the vitamins we need. That is why we shouldn’t neglect this healthy habit. Our body needs many nutrients to function properly. And of course we get more energy and our mood lightens as well. This smooth function is actually capable to make us feel euphoria. So, our day goes by with the best possible way. In fact, I remember when I was a child, my parents were urging me to eat fruits. Eventually, when I grew up, I realized that it was so true. After all, fruits are so cool and delicious that a smoothie can always be an ideal choice.
Did I always use to eat fruits and drink juices?
In the past, I used to drink ready made juices, but lately I have started making my own smoothies at home. There is really a huge difference in the taste and of course the nutrients that they offer. Personally, I think that the best time of the day to eat fruits and drink juices is in the morning. This is one of my favorite combinations, as it is cool, invigorating, tasty and of course it has this wonderful color, which makes me feel strong and happy. So, I suggest you to include natural fruit smoothies in your daily routine, if you haven’t already done so. If you already love fruits as much as I do, you should try this combination for sure!
Grapefruit Ginger Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 orange
- 1 grapefruit
- 2 apples
- 2 carrots
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 4 ice cubes
Instructions
- Peel the fruits and chop them into small pieces.
- Add them to a blender along with the ginger and turmeric until it smooths.
- Serve each of them with 2 ice cubes.
- Enjoy!
