Who doesn’t love jams?

Jam is one of my favourite choice for breakfast. Since I was a child, I used to eat freshly baked bread spread with jam before I go to school. My mom always made different flavors of jams, depending on the fruits that were in season. This favourite habit has followed me all these years and today I make my own jams with a lot of love using in my turn the wonderful fruits that each season offers me.

Sugar Free Jam!

This particular recipe is one of my favorites and especially one of those that made me very proud, as in addition to being delicious, it is made without any sugar, an ingredient that my recipes so far contained. The agave syrup that is used this recipe, is a natural sweetener, which comes from the agave plant. This sweetener has been made and used by Mexicans for many years and has become very popular in Europe due to its low glycemic index and the fructose it contains.

Jams are a delicious breakfast, which you can accompany with freshly baked bread or a meal with oats. Agave syrup is the ideal sweetener, while you will benefit from the nutrients of chia seeds, that are considered a superfood.
