Cherry Chia Jam

Jams are a delicious breakfast, which you can accompany with freshly baked bread or a meal with oats. Agave syrup is the ideal sweetener, while you will benefit from the nutrients of chia seeds, that are considered a superfood.

- 750 g cherries
- 100 g raspberries
- 4 tbsp. agave syrup
- 2 tbsp. chia seeds
- juice of 1/2 lemon
First, remove the kernels from the cherries.
Then, add the cherries, raspberries and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat.
Leave them for 15 minutes while stirring.
Use a fork or a potato smasher to melt the fruit.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the agave syrup and the chia seeds.
Mix well and we wait 15 minutes until the chia seeds create a wonderful, thick jam.
Transfer the jam to jars and leave it in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Serve with freshly baked bread and enjoy!
