Nut Butter/Spread
Nut butter is a big love of mine, as I use it in many different recipes. I am starting with breakfast, where I love to spread different kinds of nut butter on fresh and crispy bread and other recipes for main dishes or appetizers. The truth is that in the past the only nut butter I knew was peanut butter. It’s also the most popular. Along the way, I discovered other kinds of nut butter, and they became a very favorite habit of mine. Later I thought it would be much better for the taste and quality if I tried to make homemade nut butter. And that’s how it happened. So today, I present you my first recipe for nut butter, almond butter.
Homemade Almond Butter
Today we are making almond butter together. It is one of my favorite kinds of nut butter and, of course, the first one I tried and experimented with making. The result is amazing, since in addition to being delicious, it is much more nutritious than commercial nut butter since its almond content is higher and there are no additional ingredients. At the same time, it is more economical, as we can make a larger quantity and store it in our refrigerator, enjoying it whenever we want. And the best part is that it’s ready in just 15 minutes. So, let’s run to the kitchen and start cooking!
