Vegan Potatoes au Gratin

Ingredients
  

  • 2 k potatoes
  • 1 l almond milk
  • 100 g grated vegan parmesan
  • 2 tbsp vegan butter
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch of freshly ground pepper
  • 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1-2 fresh onions (optionally)

Instructions
 

  • Wash and clean the potatoes.
  • Then, cut them into round pieces and add them to a water bowl so they won't turn black until making the cream.
  • In a saucepan, add the butter, and as soon as it heats up, add the cornflour.
  • Add the almond milk, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper and mix until creating the cream.
  • Spread the potatoes in the pyrex, pour over the cream, and add the breadcrumbs.
  • After covering the pyrex with foil, bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
  • Then, remove the foil and bake for another 45'.
  • Serve by adding chopped fresh onions optionally.
