Easy Homemade Hummus

Ingredients

olive oil

paprika

lemon zest
(optionally)
Instructions
Put the chickpeas in water overnight to soak them and the next morning drain them.
Add the chickpeas and let them boil for 50 minutes in 1.5L of boiling water.
Drain the chickpeas and rinse them well with water.
Then, peel and finely chop the garlic clove.
Add the chickpeas, tahini, garlic powder, cumin, salt, pepper, lemon juice and olive oil in the blender.
At the same time, add 300ml of water in the blender. Ideally, we use the water that we boiled the chickpeas with.
Beat all the ingredients together for 4 minutes.
Serve with paprika, parsley, lemon zest and olive oil and enjoy!
Notes
Extra Tip: You can use canned chickpeas to avoid steps 1, 2 and 3.
